Wij zoeken enthousiaste vrouwen en meiden voor een nieuw dames-cricketelftal.
Sinds vorig jaar spelen er vier dames mee met de heren van de Wanderers Cricket Club. In 2022 willen zij met een nieuw elftal deelnemen aan de damescompetitie van de Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB). Cricket sluit goed aan op het voetbal- en hockeyseizoen en houd je fit gedurende de zomer. Als je nog niet weet wat cricket is, kijk dan hier.
We are looking for enthusiastic women and girls for a new women's cricket team.
Since last year, four ladies have been playing with the men's Wanderers Cricket Club. In 2022 they want to participate with a new team in the women's league of the Royal Dutch Cricket Association (KNCB). Cricket ties in well with soccer and field hockey seasons and keeps you fit during the summer. If you don't yet know what cricket is, look here.
De competitie bestaat uit twee delen. In het voorseizoen T20-wedstrijden (korte attractieve wedstrijdvariant) en later 30 over-wedstrijden die wat langer duren. Verder is er een landelijke openings- en sluitingsdag van de competitie. Wedstrijden vinden op zaterdagochtend plaats. The league consists of two parts. In the preseason T20 matches (short attractive match variation) and later 30-over matches that last a little longer. There is also a national opening and closing day of the league. Matches take place on Saturday mornings.
